Possible mechanism of rLO action in Jukart cells. l-lysine is an essential amino acid for Jurkat cell proliferation. The degradation of l-lysine by rLO promotes the inhibition of cell proliferation by decreasing the expression of genes from the JNK and p38 pathways. Furthermore, the absence of l-lysine leads to an increase in ROS and decreases in OCR and PGC-1α expression
