Probability of each variant to be the best candidate in the library after a manually designed fourth screening round (top). The top ten candidates as well as two previously unseen variants, BsGDH-SG-L48KD, and CBDCell-PT-BsGDH, were screened in four replicates each. The final ranking (bottom) shows that the top four candidates have similar reaction rate constants \({k}_{{\text{variant}}}.\) The white dot indicates the median of the distribution while thicker tails show the range in which 50% of the probability distribution lies. The thinner part of the tails spans the range to 94% probability
